Training – BCIT Airline & Flight Operations Program

The Pacific Flying Club has partnered with the British Columbia Institute of Technology to offer the Airline and Flight Operations college program. BCIT is the recognized leader in aviation technology training and the Pacific Flying Club is the largest flight training centre in Western Canada. Together, their Airline and Flight Operations program produces graduates with the aviation skill sets demanded by employers worldwide.

The Airline and Flight Operations program covers a range of aviation-related subjects such as aviation safety and risk management, crew resource management, survival skills, air carrier and airport security systems and airline ground handling procedures. Flying course standards exceed Transport Canada minimums and students must obtain at least 70% in all courses. Licences and ratings obtained during this intensive 18-month program include the Private Pilot Licence, Commercial Pilot Licence, Night Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, M-IFR Rating, and an introduction to multi-crew flying.

The program commences each May and applications are accepted through BCIT.
